Market Double Dollars: The Clearwater Gateway Farmers Market, held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday through May 25 at the 1200 block of Cleveland Street, is offering "Market Double Dollars'' for those on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

At the market, $10 in SNAP dollars will buy $20 worth of food, including fruits, vegetables, breads, dairy, meat, seeds and plants that grow fruit, at the participating booths.

Chamber to host Bilirakis: Register now for the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce forum featuring U.S. Rep. Gus Bilirakis.

It will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. May 1 at the Palm Harbor Library, 2330 Nebraska Ave. A continental breakfast will be provided.

Art center open house: The Dunedin Fine Art Center, 1143 Michigan Blvd., will hold an open house for its Summer Art Academy from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday.

The summer program is open to youth between 4 ½ and 14 years old.

    This meal is so healthy, I am not even sure how it's so delicious. It's a perfect plate for Meatless Monday: filling yet fun, with "meatballs" made out of crushed nuts and strands of spaghetti squash. The whole thing freezes surprisingly well, too, just note that the squash will be a little watery upon defrost.
