Things to do in Tampa Bay for April 13

Weird Al Yankovic: It's fitting that Weird Al Yankovic is playing not long after April Fools Day, as the singer has made a career of comedic parody songs like White & Nerdy, Eat It and Amish Paradise. See him at 8 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 N McMullen-Booth Road, Clearwater. $35-$55. (727) 791-7400.

Chasco Fiesta Boat Parade: This is serious stuff, with up to 50 wildly decorated boats parading down the Pithlachascotee River to downtown New Port Richey. The parade kicks off at 1 p.m.at Millers Bayou in New Port Richey. Free to watch, $25 to enter a boat. (727) 842-7651.

Ybor Aficionado Days: Tapas Trail: The Columbia, New World Brewery and the Bricks are some of the 18 stops on the Tapas Trail, which offers the chance to sample classic Ybor cuisine as part of Aficionado Days. There's also an after-party smoker at the Italian Club with cigars, dessert and door prizes. It's at 4 p.m. at the Italian Club in Ybor, 1731 E Seventh Ave., Tampa. Aficionado Days continues Sunday with a Spanish brunch at the Columbia Restaurant and a Tapas Cooking Challenge. $35 advance, $40 at door. (813) 241-8838; ybor.org.

Sun'n Fun Fly-In: It's all about planes and flight at this annual event featuring aerobatic performances, aviation-related forums and workshops, commercial exhibitors, live music, aviation-themed activities with a zip line, and performances by the Black Diamonds Precision Jet Team. It starts at 8 a.m. at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport, 3900 Don Emerson Drive, Lakeland. $37, $15 ages 11-17, 10 and younger free. (863) 644-2431.

Dunedin Highland Games: This annual event has competitions in Highland games and heavy athletics, Scottish bagpiping and drumming, pipe bands and Highland dancing. Also, there will live bands, a tug-o-war, kid's activities, Scottish wares, and food and drink. It's at 9 a.m. at Highlander Park, 1920 Pinehurst Road, Dunedin. $15 at the gate; 11 and younger free.
