Oscar Experience: Put on your best knock-off designer gown and head over to this Tampa Bay slice of Hollywood glitz and glamor. It includes red carpet festivities starting at 6:30 p.m. and then a large-screen viewing of the Academy Awards telecast beginning at 8:30. 'S Wonderful: Five mini-musicals pay tribute to the styles and places that influenced George and Ira Gershwin's songbook, from their start in New York City in 1916 to New Orleans in the '50s. See it at 4 p.m. in the Jaeb Theater at the Straz Center in Tampa. $32.50. (813) 229-7827.

Corey Fresh Market: Shop for fresh produce, gourmet food, plants, flowers, handcrafted items and more. This month includes a stop by the Tampa Bay Lightning's interactive Rolling Thunder Bus. It starts at 9 a.m. along Corey Avenue in St. Pete Beach. Free.


The Oscars, 8:30 p.m., ABC If there's one thing having Seth MacFarlane host tells us, it's that there will be endless musical numbers peppered with pop culture references.
