The Sunshine Music & Blues Festival: The music fest returns to St. Petersburg with a lineup including Hot Tuna, The Ringers, Oli Brown and headliner Etienne Mbappe. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. in Vinoy Park, 501 Fifth Ave. NE. $39.50-$99.50.

Martin Luther King Jr. Drum Major for Justice Battle of the Bands and Drum Line Extravaganza: Bands from historically black colleges each put on a 10-minute halftime show featuring high-stepping moves, funky drumbeats and acrobatics. See them at 4 p.m. at Tropicana Field, 1 Tropicana Drive, St. Petersburg. $12 at the gate, $15 VIP. (727) 388-9494.

Brooksville Raid Re-enactment: Includes more than 1,500 Civil War re-enactors, 28 cannons and 60 horses. Ticket includes concessions, camp tours and anvil shoots. It begins at 9 a.m. at the Sand Hill Scout Reservation, 11210 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill. $8, $4 ages 6-12, 5 and younger and scouts in uniform free. (352) 799-0129.
