Kris Allen: The season eight winner of American Idol is playing a relatively intimate show at State Theatre promoting his second album Thank You Camellia. Show starts at 7 p.m. at 687 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg. $15, $50 meet and soundcheck party. (727) 895-3045.

Tequila Tasting: The "Experience Tequila'' Master Class, led by Calyton Szczech, guides guests through the world of tequilas, where they taste a selection of tequila styles paired with appetizers. Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market: There's live music, vegetables and fruit, baked goods, herbs, teas, plants and crafts starting at 9 a.m. along Beach Boulevard in Gulfport. Free.
