An Empty Plate in the Cafe du Grand Boeuf: When the owner of the finest restaurant in Paris decides to die of starvation, the staff cooks a final meal and describes each course over a series of empty plates. Eugene Patterson tribute, 8:30 p.m., WEDU-Ch. 3: WEDU honors the memory of former Times editor Eugene Patterson by rebroadcasting a 2009 profile of him. Patterson died Jan. 12 at age 89 after a long illness. Also airing 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
