Things to Do Planner: Fetish Con, Summer of Rum Fest, Summer Nights at Busch Gardens

If you see a lot of pearl clutching in downtown St. Petersburg this weekend, it's because Fetish Con has moved its kinky karaoke and latex seminars from its home in Tampa for nearly a decade to the genteel 'Burg. The annual bondage and adult entertainment convention and trade show brings vendors, models and much more we'd rather not mention to the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront today through Sunday. Notable events include a kinky red carpet Thursday, seminars on how to use paddles and crops and the Fetish Foot Party at 4 p.m. Sunday. You must be 18 or older to attend. Tickets start at $100 at fetishcon.com. 7 p.m.-midnight Thursday, noon-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront, 333 First St. S, St. Petersburg.

RUM RUNNERS: Summer of Rum Festival

Yo ho ho! The island-inspired Summer of Rum Festival will fill the Cuban Club's three floors with multiple themed "Rum Zones" and shacks serving up more than 50 rums from around the world. There will be live entertainment, a food truck rally with island-inspired food, a pirate movie and pirate-themed rum drinks. $17-$85. Cuban Club, 2010 N Avenida Republica de Cuba, Tampa. Noon to 11 p.m. Saturday.

LAST BLAST: Summer Nights ending at Busch Gardens

Uh-oh, those Summer Nights are coming to an end at Busch Gardens. This is the last weekend for extended hours, the Kinetix rock-fueled acrobatic show, fireworks and DJ dancing. The park remains open until midnight Friday and Saturday night, included with regular daily admission. $97, $92 for ages 3-9. Busch Gardens, 3605 Bougainvillea Ave., Tampa. Toll-free 1-888-800-5447.
