The Beach Tampa : Part art installation, part science lesson, you can play in an ocean of 1.2 million white plastic balls in a 15,000 square foot architectural installation created by the New York design firm Snarkitecture. If free timed tickets are sold out online, walk-up tickets are released each day starting at 9 a.m. Open through Aug. 25. Noon, Amalie Arena, 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa. Free with timed ticket.
