Malik S: Born and raised in Miami, this comic defended himself from seven siblings with laughter based on everyday life. Now he's a writer and actor on TV Land's sitcom The Soul Man and he's taking his standup on the road. At 8 p.m., he's at Improv Comedy Theater, 1600 E Eighth Ave., Tampa. $10. (813) 864-4000.

Monty Python Reunion Show: Comedy legends John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin reunited on stage to bid farewell to Monty Python at London's O2 Arena. Now, it's playing for an encore in theaters, including Regency 20 in Brandon, Park Place Stadium 16 in Pinellas Park, Woodland Square 20 in Oldsmar and Citrus Stadium 20 in Tampa. It starts at 7:30 p.m. Prices vary by theater.

Drag Queen Bingo Benefit: It's a "Very Mary Trailer Park Christmas in July" as drag queens call the numbers for 10 games of flamboyant bingo to benefit Historic Holiday Spirit in Ybor. Things kick off at 7:30 p.m. at Hamburger Mary's Bar & Grille, 1600 E Seventh Ave., Ybor City. $10. (813) 241-6279.

Vans Warped Tour hits St. Petersburg's Vinoy Park on Friday, bringing more than 91 punk, metal and rock bands ($38.50). Meanwhile, Warped Tour alums Fall Out Boy and Paramore flash back to the early 2000s and throw in some new hits Saturday at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fairgrounds ($26-$66).
