KIDS AND FAMILY

Dinos Alive: A special exhibit of life-like and life-size dinosaurs. The outdoor display features towering dinosaurs that move, blink and roar. Activity areas include a "Fossil Fun" dig site, a new live show called "Dinos Among Us," and special food and drinks at the recently renovated Dino Grille. Dave Chappelle stand-up specials, 3 a.m., Netflix: Comedian Dave Chappelle is back in his first concert specials in 12 years. Two new comedy specials stream today on Netflix. The first is from Chappelle's personal vault — Dave Chappelle: The Age of Spin — from 2016 and the second — Dave Chappelle: Deep in the Heart of Texas — from 2015.

    There are some local places that I'm shocked aren't more well known, and I think that's the result of a general aversion to stepping out of one's comfort zone. I make regular concerted efforts to step outside of mine, which often leads me to strange and rewarding drinking establishments.

    Les Partners Lounge is an old-school, smoker-friendly cocktail lounge and live music venue tucked away in a nondescript shopping plaza in Island Estates.
