Sant' Yago Illuminated Knight Parade: Have you had enough of beads? This nighttime Gasparilla parade will have illuminated floats on Ybor's Seventh Avenue on Saturday. Free but you can get $25 bleacher seats at knightparade.com.

Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo: A snowstorm kept this famed all-male dance troupe home, so last week's show has been rescheduled for Tuesday, where you can see the "Trocks" mix parody and staggeringly good technique at the Capitol Theatre in Clearwater. $35-$75. (727) 791-7400.

Whigfest Music and Arts Festival: To "celebrate freedom through art," the weekend festival is headlined by J.J. Grey and Mofro and Nicki Bluhm and the Gamblers, among 25 artists at Jannus Live, the Ringside Cafe, MacDinton's and the Mandarin Hide. $30, $65 VIP.

Mardi Gras Weekend: Ricky P's is celebrating early (Mardi Gras is Feb. 16) in St. Petersburg, with a "second line" parade led by a marching band through the Edge District Saturday, food tent and prizes for best costumes.

Muse Art and Body Art Show: You can find a naughty night out Saturday in St. Petersburg at Artpool's annual party featuring a "breathing canvas" of nude models painted head to toe, video art and music. $20, $40 VIP runway seats. (727) 324-3878.

Florida State Fair: It's the second week of the fair, with free concerts, including '60s pop act the Fifth Dimension (Up, Up and Away) on Friday. Entry tickets are $13 on weekends, $11 on weekdays.

Bay Area Renaissance Festival: Huzzah! The 37th annual festival turns the lots behind MOSI into a medieval land of kings, queens, jousting, jugglers, mimes and a human chess match. It opens with a "Wine, Chocolate and Romance" theme with lots of sweet treats Saturday and Sunday. $11.95-$16.95.
