Here's a quick guide to where to see the rockets' red glare this weekend. Sunset is at 8:30, and most fireworks shows begin at 9 p.m. but the weather could push back the starting time.

Early adopters

The Clearwater Threshers will have post-game fireworks displays Thursday and Friday. $6-10. Bright House Field, 601 N Old Coachman Road, Clearwater. Games start at 7 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 p.m. Friday.

The Dunedin Blue Jays will have a post-game fireworks show and post-game concert by the Greg Billings Band on Friday. Free, but fans must get a ticket at the stadium. Florida Auto Exchange Stadium, 373 Douglas Ave., Dunedin. Game starts at 6:30 p.m.

• The Shops at Wiregrass, 28211 Paseo Drive, Wesley Chapel. 4-9 p.m. Friday.

Saturday

Pinellas

Spa Beach at the Pier approach, 615 Second Ave. N, St. Petersburg.

St. Pete Beach will launch fireworks around 9 p.m. from Upham Beach, which will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. at Gulf Boulevard and 68th Street.

Gulfport's Beach Boulevard will have a parade at 6 p.m., fireworks at 9 p.m. Check mygulfport.us for updates.

Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive, 6-9:30 p.m.

Madeira Beach's new ROC Park has live music all day. It's free for general admission, $50 VIP at 300 Municipal Drive; 3-9:30 p.m.

Clearwater, gates open at 4 p.m. with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. at Coachman Park, 301 Drew St.

Safety Harbor City Marina, 110 Veterans Memorial Lane, 5-9:30 p.m.

Tarpon Springs Fred Howard Park, 1700 Sunset Drive, 9 p.m.

Hillsborough

Channelside Bay Plaza will be giving out 3,100 wristbands for fireworks viewing starting at 6 p.m. VIP tickets are $25-$65 on eventbrite.com for reserved seating at 615 Channelside Drive, Tampa.

Brandon Westfield Town Center Mall, 6-9 p.m.

Apollo Beach Lakeside Park, 7012 Sail View Lane, 5-10 p.m.

Plant City Stadium and Randy Larson Softball Four-Plex, 1810 E Park Road, Plant City ($5 parking), 6-9:30 p.m.

Central Park at FishHawk Ranch, 14215 Barrington Stowers Drive, Lithia, 5-10 p.m.

The Tampa Yankees will have post-game fireworks after a 6 p.m. game ($4-$6) at Steinbrenner Field, 1 Steinbrenner Drive, Tampa.

Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club, on the first fairway between Belle Terre and Woodmont avenues. Free parking available at Bullard Parkway and 56th Street, and on residential streets.

Around the Suncoast

Hernando County Fairgrounds demolition derby, $10, $5 ages 3-12, 2 and younger free; $5 parking at 6436 Broad St., Brooksville. 4 p.m.

Pasco County Fairgrounds, 36722 State Road 52, Dade City, gates open at 3 p.m. for entertainment with fireworks at 9:15 p.m. $5 entry, under 12 free; $5 parking.

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens barbecue, $35, $30 members, 11 and younger free (general); $150 (VIP), 811 S Palm Ave., Sarasota. (941) 366-5731. 6-10 p.m.

Sutton Park on the Manatee River, 1006 Sixth St. W, Palmetto. $5 music festival starting at 4 p.m.; fireworks at 9 p.m.

Theme parks

Busch Gardens has nightly fireworks for the summer, after the Kinetix show at 9 p.m. followed by fireworks over SheiKra. Included with admission: $97, $92 ages 3-9.

Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will have a 14-minute 360-degree Celebrate America: Concert in the Sky fireworks show at approximately 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday. Included with admission: $105, $99 ages 3-9.

Legoland will hand out special viewing glasses that turn the fireworks display Friday to Sunday into millions of exploding bricks. Included with admission: $75, $65 seniors and kids ages 3-12.

Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World cancels its Frozen fireworks show Saturday for a special holiday-themed pyrotechnic show set to a rock 'n' roll sound track at 10:15 p.m. Included with admission: $97, $91 ages 3-9.

Epcot's Heartbeat of Freedom show will be tacked on to the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth lagoon show (10 p.m.). Included with admission: $97, $91 ages 3-9.
