Robert Irvine to film 'Restaurant Impossible' episode in Clearwater

Can $10,000 and chef Robert Irvine turn around the troubles at Smitty's Restaurant in Clearwater? They'll find out next week when Irvine and his Restaurant Impossible crew spend two days there overhauling the menu, working over the staff and dressing up the interior. The show will be filmed on Tuesday and Wednesday, though there is no word when the Smitty's episode will air on the Food Network. If you're curious about how Irvine and Co. did, call the restaurant at (727) 572-7388 to make a reservation for the grand reveal at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Smitty's is at 4890 122nd Ave. N.
