Beer from Tampa-based Cigar City Brewing is now available on 13 Carnival Cruise ships that sail out of Florida ports.

Carnival Cruise Lines has entered into an exclusive agreement to offer Cigar City beer on its Florida-based ships. Cruise passengers can choose from Cigar City's Florida Cracker Belgian-Style White Ale and Invasion Pale Ale.

The agreement, which capitalizes on the growing popularity of craft beer, was announced Sunday at an event aboard Carnival Legend at the Port of Tampa. Combined, the 13 Carnival ships carry 2 million passengers per year.

The deal has been touted as the largest partnership between a craft brewery and a major cruise line.
