Taste test: skillet sauces

When you have most everything you need for a quick dinner, minus a few fresh herbs or special ingredients, skillet sauces are a popular new option. We found a variety of premade sauces packed in easy-pour pouches that are ready to be heated and served. Chicken tenders were our protein of choice for this tasting. We warmed the sauces on the stovetop according to package directions, then added cooked chicken. Judges enjoyed some of the flavor blends and appreciated the convenience of the sauces.
