Oscar-winners Hudson, Zeta-Jones and Crowe to sing at Oscars

LOS ANGELES -- Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have announced that three Academy Award-winning actors -- Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Chicago) and Russell Crowe (Gladiator), who is currently in Les Misérables -- will be performing Sunday at the ceremony in a celebration honoring movie musicals of the last decade.

The three will be joining the stars of Les Misérables, Oscar nominees Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway, along with Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Aaron Tviet, Samantha Banks and Helena Bonham Carter in the tribute to Les Misérables, Dreamgirls and Chicago, which was the last musical to win the best picture Oscar.

"We are pleased to have been able to amass so much talent to create the celebration of musicals of the last decade that we envisioned," Zadan and Meron said in a statement Wednesday. "We are thrilled that so many talented actors have agreed to bring our vision to life."

Besides the musicals tribute, the producers have also lined up Adele, Dame Shirley Bassey, Norah Jones and Barbra Streisand to perform on the Oscar telecast Sunday evening at the Dolby Theatre.
