Alice Cooper headlines 98 Rock's Halloweenie Roast

Last year, 98 Rock kicked off a new festival tradition in Tampa by bringing Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson to town for the inaugural Halloweenie Roast. This year's event doesn't have Zombie or Manson, but it does have a guy who inspired them both: Alice Cooper. The original shock-rocker toplines this year's Halloweenie Roast, which is set for Oct. 26 in Tampa. Papa Roach, Bullet For My Valentine, Pop Evil, Black Veil Brides and Heaven's Basement are also on the bill. Tickets are $29.98 to $70, with $160 VIP tickets available, and they'll go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. This weekend, you can get some advance reserved seats for just $19.98, while supplies last. — Jay Cridlin, Times staff writer
