Tampa Bay Music & Shows

Brace yourself Manilow fans, Barry is coming

If you're excited for the impressive slate of mom-rock coming to the Tampa Bay Times Forum this fall — Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Il Volo, Sarah Brightman, Andrea Bocelli, Donny and Marie — then you're gonna love this: Barry Manilow is coming back to Tampa in 2014.

The man who writes the songs that the whole world sings will perform at the Forum on Jan. 31, according to his website. Pre-sale tickets were scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m. today, starting as low as $9.99 (no, that's not a misprint), but the link doesn't appear to be live just yet. Keep checking www.manilow.com for updates.

There's no official word from the Forum on ticket prices and availability for the general public, but we expect an announcement in the coming weeks.

Until then, we have plenty of time to practice our karaoke versions of Mandy, Copacabana and Looks Like We Made It.
