Cyndi Lauper, Kellie Pickler, Huey Lewis coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall

Broadway darling Cyndi Lauper (Tony winner of the Kinky Boots score), American Idol alum Kellie Pickler and '80s favorites Huey Lewis and the News are among the concert announcements from Ruth Eckerd Hall on Monday.

Pickler, the country sweetheart, is coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Oct. 11. Tickets are $29-$55.

The '80s get their due with the arrival of hitmaker and Tony-winning composer Lauper on Nov. 8 (tickets start at $49.50), Huey Lewis and the News on Dec. 6 ($49.50 and up) and Paul Anka on April 4 ($55 and up).

Also announced Monday, A-list DJ/producer Afrojack is coming to Hogan's Beach in Tampa on Oct. 10. Tickets are $22.50-$40.

    Baywatch is a running gag in slow motion, a thong-in-cheek TV retread swapping wholesome jiggles for dirty giggles. There are places for such humor but beaches don't have gutters.
