Cobham invited students to attend the rehearsal as listeners in much the same way that students in a conducting class would sit in to watch a master conductor rehearsing the music of Brahms or Beethoven before a concert.

Cobham's show is at 8 p.m. today at the Palladium Theater in St. Petersburg.
