The Who have been threatening to retire since the first Bush administration, but they swear it's finally time for a "goodbye." (Well, maybe.) If that's really the case, Tampa Bay will be the first folks to bid the Brits adieu when Pete Townshend, 69, and Roger Daltrey, 70, launch "The Who Hits 50!" tour at Amalie Arena on April 15. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 17 at thewho.com. Prices range from $36.25 to $136.25. In a press conference, Townshend said the setlist will be composed of "hits, picks, mixes and misses." Other Florida dates include Miami on April 17 and Jacksonville on April 19. — Times staff
