In celebration of Earth Day, join park biologist Keith Morin for a two-hour walk through an area recently burned and learn about the importance natural fire plays in the ecosystem.
Price: Free; donations welcome.
Take a three-quarter mile walk along the Pepper Creek Trail. Binoculars and field guide recommended. Participants can either walk back on the trail or take the first returning boat after the park opens.
Kids can celebrate Earth Day while exploring the salt marsh and tidal pool at the preserve to learn how they connect to local wildlife, residents and visitors.
