Medical Center of Trinity will host monthly Lymphedema support group meetings on the third Thursday of the month. Lymphedema is persistent swelling, usually affecting an arm or leg, that sometimes occurs as a side effect of cancer treatment. Seating is limited. Reservations required.
"Chatterboxes" is a support group for people who have communication deficits such as aphasia, apraxia or dysarthria as a result of a cerebral vascular accident or neurological disorders. Caregivers and spouses are encouraged to attend.
