Green Day's 'American Idiot' at the Mahaffey April 8

This is the ultimate sing-along musical, and you don't even have to be a musical theater fan. American Idiot, a rock opera based on the 2004 album by punk rockers Green Day, comes to the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. It tells the story of lifelong friends forced to choose between their dreams and the suburbs.
