Aquatica water park offers after-2 p.m. deal

Aquatica, SeaWorld's water park in Orlando, is offering an afternoon deal to cool off. Buy a single day's admission — $55 for adults, $50 for children ages 3-9 — and you can keep going to Aquatica after 2 p.m. throughout the rest of 2013 with no blackout dates. Opened in 2008, SeaWorld's innovative hybrid concept was an instant success because it combines a marine park with a water park. Dolphin Plunge, the park's signature attraction, has two enclosed tube slides that pass through a pool containing a pod of dolphins. You can purchase tickets at AquaticaOrlando.com, or call (888) 800-5447. — Sharon Kennedy Wynne, Times staff writer
