Disney adds 24-hour day for Memorial Day, plus more 'Frozen'

Disney World's 24-hour endurance test will return Memorial Day weekend, the theme park announced Wednesday, giving visitors 24 hours of play time at the Magic Kingdom starting at 6 a.m. May 22.

This is the fourth time Disney has held a 24-hour event. The events have proven hugely popular, with fans packing the park into the wee hours of the morning just because they can.

Disney also announced its "Coolest Summer Ever" promotion, bringing the characters from Frozen to Disney's Hollywood Studios for sing-alongs, a procession and a special fireworks show set to the music of the world's most popular animated movie.

Frozen Summer Live will run June 17-Sept. 7.
