Disney offers Florida residents winter ticket deal

Once again, Disney is giving Florida residents a winter ticket deal of three days in the parks for $129 now through June 6, with some blackout dates. Over the holidays crowds were should-to-shoulder at all the theme parks, but come January the parks are a breeze. Compare that price to the one-day ticket that costs $90-$95, depending on the park. You can add a fourth day for $20 more. The ticket is valid at any one of the four Disney theme parks. There are some blackout days: April 11-20 for all four parks; and the Magic Kingdom has additional blackout days of Feb. 15-16 and May 24-25. The tickets have to be used by June 6 and can be purchased by Florida residents only at disneyworld.disney.go.com/special-offers. Sharon Kennedy Wynne, Times staff writer
