Disney World raises admission price

The Dumbo ride has long been one of the most popular attractions at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

The Dumbo ride has long been one of the most popular attractions at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

Just a few weeks after Universal Orlando upped its ticket price past the $90 threshold, Disney World has responded with its own increase, just in time for summer.

A one-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom now costs $95, plus tax, for adults and $89 for children ages 3 to 9. That's a boost of $6 per ticket. It also upped the price of multi-day tickets.

The good news, if there is any, is that the cost of a one-day ticket to Disney's other Orlando parks, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, just went up a dollar to $90 for adults and $84 for children.

The move wasn't unexpected and comes after Universal upped the cost of its one-day, one-day ticket three bucks to $92, plus tax. The increase made Universal the first Orlando theme park to surpass the $90 mark.
