The popular Florida Four-Pack special has returned to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, offering a $60 savings on admission for four.
Available now through Dec. 3, the package costs $139 with a coupon available at kennedyspacecenter.com/tickets/special-offers. Guests must present the printed coupon and proof of Florida residency at the visitor complex ticket plaza to qualify.
Some of the newer exhibits at the Kennedy Space Center include the space shuttle Atlantis docked in the visitor complex and rotated 43 degrees with payload bay doors open and its robotic arm extended, as if it has just undocked from the International Space Station. There are also more than 60 interactive, touch-screen experiences and high-tech simulators that cover the 30-year history of the space shuttle program.
And Great Balls of Fire, a new interactive exhibit, allows guests to discover the risks of asteroids, comets and meteorites, including finding out what would happen if one of these celestial bodies were to hit your hometown.
Located about 45 minutes from Orlando, the standard bus tour, included with admission, explores the history of the Apollo moon and space shuttle programs, with features including a simulated launch experience, the Rocket Garden, two IMAX theaters, Astronaut Encounter, U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame and a number of exhibits.
Regular admission is $50, $40 for children ages 3-11. For information call toll-free 1-877-313-2610 or see KennedySpaceCenter.com.
