Video: Stranded dolphin rescued by SeaWorld team

SeaWorld Orlando's Animal Rescue team rescued an adult male bottlenose dolphin that was found stranded Thursday night in shallow water in the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge on Florida's central east coast.

The dolphin appeared thin, weighing only 350 pounds, and measured 8 feet long.

The animal's condition was considered very critical, although back at SeaWorld's marine mammal medical facility, he is classified as being in stable condition and he has started eating.

If you see injured marine animal, you can help by calling the FWC hotline at 1(888) 404-3922 or by dialing *FWC on a cellular device.
