The exhibit celebrates the artist's attention to Mexican and indigenous cultures and the depiction of the female experience and form, revealed in her paintings and self-portraits.

The Zooper Art Show and contest, featuring works depicting wildlife, will be on display through Nov. 3 at the Pasco Fine Arts Center, 4145 Fairford Drive, New Port Richey. The exhibit includes about 40 entries. An opening reception will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 6 at the center. Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and 9:30 a.m. to noon Friday and Saturdays.
