Bleu Acier, the atelier at 109 W Columbus Drive, Tampa, is a bustling place with master printer Erika Schneider collaborating constantly on limited editions with artists from places far and near. She rarely has gallery shows, however, so the advent of one is special. • "First There Is a Mountain" exhibits a new series created with Gregg Perkins based on a fascinating backstory, that of Swiss aviation pioneer Walter Mittelholzer, whose aerial photograph of Mont Blanc in the Alps from the 1930s becomes the inspiration for Perkins' prints. Shown is the photogravure Double Mountain. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday through Dec. 21. Free. bleuacier.com. Image from Bleu Acier
