Get ready for 'Sugar Bomb' at HCC in Ybor

Kirk Ke Wang is such a creative range rover: painter, sculptor, photographer, etc., etc., plus a software developer and art professor at Eckerd College. Coming in the latest installment of creativity is "Sugar Bomb" at the Hillsborough Community College Ybor's art gallery, at Palm Avenue and 15th Street in Ybor City, Tampa. It's an installation involving bombs made with Cuban sugar and Chinese containers, among other things. You'll just have to see it, beginning Monday and continuing through Sept. 30. Shown is Wang in his studio with the work in progress. (813) 253-7674.
