Play with art at Florida Craftsmen Gallery in St. Petersburg

Let's play! • The new exhibition at Florida Craftsmen Gallery is a summer beguilement, filled with clever toys and games crafted by artists that are part hands-on entertainment and part sculptural objects. The show also has collaborative works, such as a chess set by ceramicists at the Train Station Center for Clay and another created by students at the Sunflower School. • You're also invited to become part of the fun every Thursday during the show's run when Florida Craftsmen hosts Game Night from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Today (June 27) is Team Trivia led by professional trivia master Jim Brown. Ahead are Corn Hole Night and, off-site, Heads Up Night (Ellen DeGeneres' game) at American Stage on July 7. • "Play: Toys & Games Made by Artists" is at Florida Craftsmen Gallery, 501 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, through Aug. 24.
