Good news from the Tampa Bay History Center, 801 Old Water St., Tampa. "Charting the Land of Flowers: 500 Years of Florida Maps," which was scheduled to close Feb. 16, is extended through April 13. If you haven't seen it yet, you should. Not only is it the most extensive documentation of Florida maps, from 1493 to the present, it's also gorgeous. Shown is "Tabula Terre Nove," a 1513 map during the time of Ponce de Leon's Florida expedition. Admission is $12.95 adults, $10.95 seniors, students with ID and youths 13 to 17, $7.95 kids 4 to 12.
