Now that we have entered the season of clouds and rain, the perfect color fix on a gray day can be found in the Chihuly Collection, 400 Beach Drive NE, St. Petersburg. It's a small jewel on the downtown waterfront, packed with vibrant installations by world-famous glass artist Dale Chihuly. This is an especially good time for a visit because a collection of vessels titled Sealife Stoppers, which has been on temporary display, on loan from Chihuly, will depart after June 30. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $14.95 adults, $13.95 seniors, $10.95 children and students, free to children 5 and younger. Music & Concerts

For all the old-timers' talk about how they don't make singers like they used to, about how rock vocalists of the 21st century can't hold a candle to the frontmen of yesteryear, here's a fact no hater could deny:

    Chester Bennington could flat-out wail.
