Tampa Bay Weather

Expect a rain-free, hot Saturday in Tampa Bay

Even though the temperatures will continue at or slightly above the summer averages through the weekend, Tampa Bay will stay dry this morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Weather forecasters are not seeing rain forming yet. This decreases rain chances over the region, with the highest rain and storm chances south of Interstate 4.

However, over the coastal waters, rain can be expected starting late in the afternoon and continuing through the late evening and early morning hours.

Thunderstorms will develop over the entire Florida peninsula during the first half of next week. The showers will start pouring in the early afternoon and continue into the evening. The forecast predicts rain will mostly fall along and west of Interstate 75.
