Clouds will build across the Tampa Bay area ahead of a cold front that will lose its punch on Thursday before making a significant impact on the region.
The front, sinking in from the north, could produce a slight sprinkle on Thursday afternoon, but won’t bring much relief to the region’s recent warm stretch, 10Weather WTSP meteorologist Grant Gilmore said.
Temperatures will start off in the mid to upper 60s, and above-average highs will reach the low to mid 80s under partly sunny skies, Gilmore said.
Highs on Friday will be a touch cooler, struggling to reach 80 under partly cloudy skies with a remote chance of afternoon rain as the front moves through, Gilmore said.
Highs again will climb just above 80 for Veterans Day and through the weekend before another front brings even cooler temperatures next week, Gilmore said.
