Residents are waking up to temperatures anywhere from 5 to 10 degrees cooler than Tuesday, with lows in the mid to upper 50s, 10Weather WTSP meteorologist Grant Gilmore said.

Those cooler temperatures are accompanied by chilly winds from the north. The Sunshine Skyway Bridge is under a high wind advisory, with gusts likely near 30 mph at the top of the bridge, Gilmore said, and most areas are experiencing breezes from 10-15 mph.

That refreshing feel will continue into the afternoon, with clear skies yielding to some scattered clouds later and highs in the upper 70s — normal for this time of year, Gilmore said.

Lows will drop to near 60.

Expect similar conditions on Thursday and Friday, before a brief warm-up to start the weekend and the next real cool spell starting on Monday.
