Monday should set up a pretty typical June week, with hot temperatures and a very low chance for brief scattered showers.
Afternoon highs should be near 90 under mostly sunny skies and a small chance of pop up scattered showers that will dissipate quickly into the evening, according to the National Weather Service.
These showers will appear closer to the coast in the morning and get pushed inland by the coastal breeze. There is only a 20 percent of scattered showers throughout Tampa Bay, with areas east of Interstate 75 having the highest possibility, forecasters said.
Temperatures will drop to a warm mid 70s overnight under partly cloudy skies.
Expect hot afternoons the rest of the week, with highs in the upper 80s or lower 90s, mostly sunny skies and rain chance near 20-30- percent.
