The week will end much like it started across Tampa Bay, with clear skies, low humidity and unseasonably warm temperatures that will extend into the weekend and through the middle of next week.
Clouds in the Gulf of Mexico are expected to stay offshore through the afternoon, leaving mostly sunny skies and just a few afternoon clouds as temperatures creep into the low-80s, Gilmore said.
Skies will be mostly clear Friday night, with pleasant lows dipping into the low 60s, Gilmore said.
Highs will be near or just above — 80 through next week, when a mass of arctic air makes its way south. That will drive rain chances up starting Wednesday and keeping highs on Thursday at or below 70, Gilmore said.
And by next weekend, highs will remain in the 60s, Gilmore said.
