The working week will start with weather begging you to play hooky and head to the beach.
High pressure spreading across the state from the Atlantic Ocean is keeping weather warm and sunny across Tampa Bay, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters said Monday will look a lot like Sunday. Highs should reach the low 80s inland and middle 70s up to 80 along the coast. The morning starts with mild temps in the middle 60s and some cloudy skies, but sunshine should quickly develop as the day goes on. The sunsets around 7:44 p.m. tonight as temperatures drop to 75 degrees before heading into the low 60s overnight.
Tuesday should start with another echo of the same weather pattern, forecasters said. However, a cold front will move in during the day Tuesday. Limited moisture in the front will keep rain chances below 20 percent and mostly some sprinkles likely.
A trailing upper level low will sweep into the area Wednesday, increasing rain chances to about 30 percent, but things clear again Thursday through the weekend.
Temperatures should hover within a few degrees of the 77-degree normal temperature all week long.
