I did not come to Tampa with my sights set on sports photography, but I’ve come to love it. There are few better feelings than watching a touchdown pass come right into the end zone where you’re ready and waiting. I got my first taste of that adrenaline rush as a student journalist at the University of Miami. Since then I’ve photographed numerous Rays walkoffs, many Bucs losses, the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, SEC and ACC Championships, Women’s Final Four, and even the College Football Playoff National Championship. When I’m not on the field I produce the WriteLane podcast, shoot daily stories, food reviews, and pretty much any other assignment.
