Rebecca Catalanello works the late shift in Tampa, covering crime and breaking news in Hillsborough County. She joined the Times in 2003, covering K-12 education in Pasco County. Before that, she covered education at the Mobile Press-Register and the Charleston Daily Mail in West Virginia. A native of New Orleans, La., she wrote about her hometown's flooding during Hurricane Katrina and continues to report on its rebuilding.
