Jeff Webb joined the Times editorial board in 1992. In his capacity as editor of editorials in Hernando County he authors the unsigned editorials that embody the institutional opinion of the newspaper, as well as writing bylined columns that are his personal opinions. He also edits and coordinates letters to the editor and guest columns for the Hernando Times Opinion pages. Webb frequently serves as an ambassador for the Times in the community, speaking and volunteering with various groups and organizations.
