Diane Steinle is a member of the St. Petersburg Times editorial board and is editor of editorials for the North Pinellas editions of the newspaper. She has worked for the Times since 1984 as a reporter, editorial writer and editor. A North Carolina native, she has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She lives in Clearwater and is the mother of two adult sons.
