Chris Tisch was born and raised in Oconto Falls, Wis., a town of about 2,500 people just north of Green Bay. Chris has lived in Seattle, Chicago, Cincinnati and Tampa, but he still stays loyal to his Wisconsin roots and remains a proud fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. His hobbies include music, movies, travel and reading. He has been a newspaper reporter in Florida since 1995. He spent five years at the Bradenton Herald before coming to the St. Petersburg Times in 2000. He is a graduate of Northwestern University. Chris covers justice and legal affairs in Pinellas County. He also covers Florida's death penalty system. He lives in St. Petersburg.
