Alexandra Zayas, a native Floridian, joined the Times in 2005. She graduated from the University of Miami, and has written for The Miami Herald and The Star Tribune in Minneapolis. She interviews in English and Spanish and covers a wide range of topics, with a focus on Tampa neighborhoods that include Seminole Heights, Tampa Heights, West Tampa and Ybor City.
