Dalia Colón joined the staff of tbt* (Tampa Bay Times) in 2005. In the name of journalism she has flown an airplane, enrolled in trapeze school, auditioned to be a Bucs cheerleader and helped a reader propose to his girlfriend on the cover of tbt*. Born in Cleveland in 1982, Colón earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ohio University and a master's degree in Spanish education from Kent State University. She lives in Brandon with her husband, Braulio Colón, and their houseplants, Billy and Princess.
