Bayfront Health's Baby Place is a Level III Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center (RIPICC) by the Florida Department of Health in partnership with Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. Bayfront has 24-hour obstetrical coverage by our Family Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Programs that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

Bayfront's Nursery is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and monitoring equipment. Babies needing extra attention will be cared for in our nursery by a specialized clinical team. Infants with special needs will be transferred to the NICU at John Hopkins All Children's Hospital for care, just a short elevator ride away.
